If you are a worker involved with 16-25 year old young people, then this one day experiential course will offer you an opportunity to understand the impact of Childhood Sexual Abuse and the resulting chaos.

 

The course will cover:

 

·                What is sexual abuse and how many people are abused

·                Exploration of survivors and workers’ fears of disclosure

·                Active listening skills to support you in your work

·                Effects of childhood sexual abuse from a psychological, emotional, physical and sexual, perspective, including an exploration of issues of touch

 

Target Audience

All staff from the statutory and voluntary agencies who work directly or indirectly with children and young people. 

 

 

Duration

One day (9.30 am - 4.00 pm)

Refreshments are not included
